I am looking for a 50" Flat Screen and hope someone here can help me.
I found 7 TVs that are on sale this Friday (one option is plasma but i hope someone on this forum can still help).
Along with the TVs, I included links so people can view the tv's easier and also included their Sale Prices. All of these TVs fit into my price range, though if there are two similar tv's then saving money is always a good thing. If anyone can suggest a tv or at least help narrow down this list, I would be very thankful.

Here are the HDTVs:

Proscan 50 1080p LCD HDTV (PLCD5092A) = $288.00

I'm not familiar with all of these sets, but just reading the reviews and seing what's on them...if I was looking for a 50 inch screen, I would probably look at that Toshiba for $300.

MTX SW2 12” SUB, Sharp AQUOS LC-70C6400U

Panasonic SA-HE100 AVR,Technics SL-B20 Turntable

These are all pretty basic models and the only "name brand" on the list is Toshiba (except for the Panasonic plasma). I don't like plasmas and cheap ones are even worse. If you walk into a store, you can always pick out the plasmas because they are the dimmest ones on the shelves. The others you have listed are all considered "bottom tier" brands, so by process of elimination, I'd pick one of the Toshibas. Good luck to you.

I vote Toshiba 2200u also. It's the only decent set in that list.

Panasonic AX-200u / Optoma Graywolf 92" / Draper Luma 92"
Samsung 51F8500 Plasma / Panasonic P50ST60 Plasma / Vizio GV42LF LCD / Vizio VP322 Plasma
Sony S790 BD / Panasonic BDT-220 / Roku 2 XS & Roku 2 (Ver. 3)
Oppo 983H Anchor Bay VRS / Panasonic S97 Faroudja Genesis / Oppo 970HD MediaTek
Aiwa MX100 Multi-region VCR / JVC S7600 S-VHS
