Maybe if I complained more I could have got a refund but I figured I wouldn't be that person and follow proper protocol.
Update - Called customer service. Stated the problem, the fact that it was a widespread problem, and that the E series just arent that great. I was very polite, matter of fact, and to the point. I said I like VIzio, and want to buy an M series, and pay whatever the difference is to get one, after they give me a "return for credit". The level 1 guy said hes get a supervisor. I didn't even need to talk to the super. Level 1 guy came back within literally 45 seconds, and said they would refund me. I guess they're gonna send a box, then i ship to them, ( out of a tv for a few weeks) then I'll get the check.
So I had to upload a picture of my costco receipt so they know how much to send me. ...apparently what i paid last year is still more than an M series today, so I'm stoked.
Also, this is my first return, glad I didn't get conned into any replacements, refurbishes, or B series like some of you. What a headache. 1 return is enough for me!
Now- aside from M series (hopefully) not having white spots, is their 240 hz better than this E series 120? right? I mean overall, better picture quality in general I'm guessing?
