Exciting news!

Westinghouse look set to bring 4K to the mass with their range of 4K TVs, ie, not just the huge $$$$$ ones. But they of course had to also make the world's largest 4K TV for the due attention!

Revealed from CES 2013 Press invite.

The major players, well, Sony, LG and Samsung have all released 84-85-Inch models, ie, huge.

I have a strong feeling we will see smaller models from them at CES, they just haven't let the news out yet. Well, here is to hoping anyhow.

I can't find a press release about the actual specs. I don't know who does their PR, but the last piece of news on their display site is from October 2011. I haven't even seen exactly what display technology it uses. Usually displays this big are plasma, and if it's an LCD, creating a piece of LDC glass that big is an accomplishment in of itself. Maybe more will come out this week - so far I haven't seen anybody's reactions in person.
