I have connected the tv to my wireless router and when I try to browse I receive an "SSL error, failed to handshake communication..."
I've confirmed that my software is up-to-date. I can select SmartCentral > YouTube and watch videos just cant connect to a browser.
Try resetting the TV either by the internal menu or perhaps unplugging from wall power.
I saw this with a google search:
1. After 1 day, I had an error connecting to Netflix, and the browser was giving an SSL handshake error. Had to perform a reset to get it working. Do this by navigating through the "Menu", and look for the Reset option that notifies that you should use the option if you're giving the TV to another person. All settings are lost, but it will fix the network problem.
This TV has several issues with Netflix. One is that it plays a movie then when you adjust the volume it stops the movie and resets it. The second is it stops the movie and the TV turns off. I disabled the auto update and now its working again. I don't think I'll by another Sharp after all of the 1st world problems we've had with it.
