Here, they have finally come back to selling the 55LM7600.
It was reported by a few that Amazon admitted to no longer being an authorized reseller. Is this return a temporary thing for the Holidays I wonder, or is it just for the 2012 models because CES 2013 is around the corner?
Is it possible that these are all the UNopened returns from sales made BEFORE their "authorized seller" status was yanked?
Not likely. having a bunch of unopenned returns (highly unlikely that they'd have a significant number of unopenned returns any way) has no bearing on "authorized dealer" status. 6700 and 7600 availability from LG is spotty at best-I work for Sears and we see them go on back order quite often-so I think it's mostly a matter of availability. Compared to similarly featured sets from Samsung these things are a bargain even at street prices and we can't keep 'em in stock.

You're making my point. They could be without their authorized whatever status and still re-sell their initial inventory when returned un-opened.
Your point about there not being that much of that though is well taken, but not the availability comment: They DID lose their authorized status, and that DID result in them not selling them directly. (This was all recently discussed and verified by others).
Grow milkweed. The Monarch Butterfly requires it, and its numbers are dwindling fast.
