Out of the blue my wife said lets get a new TV for the holidays so being one who never passes the opportunity to get a new toy I picked the SONY XBR65HX950. Did I pick a good one? We will be going to get it Saturdsy afternoon. The last TV we purchased was a 50" Panasonic plasma about 8 or 9 years ago so I really like to get the most up to date technology that I can afford as I will not be replacing this one for a while.

Thanks

Stu

I would say you made a good choice. Enjoy your new TV.

Let us know if your panel has any vertical banding. It seems to be an issue amongst the 65" LCDs
