I tired taking it out and putting it back in at least 7 times but still nothing. Is there a way to tell if the unit is getting power? I guess I am trying to figure out is the unit bad or is it the tv causing the problem?
I just spent the last 9 days of my life bouncing around Samsung's different departments to try and remedy this same issue. From chat, tech support, remote management, engineering, executive customer care, billing, sales, and backwards.
The issue you are having is that either the product itself is not compatible with the current firmware or the product is defective. Either way you will not have success getting it to work. You need to file a request for a replacement or get a refund. Good luck because you might just end up in the battle of phone calls, faxes, and return phone calls just like I was. Luckily I kept a good record of each phone call, transaction number and dates. Please do the same.
Like I said it was a 9 day battle and I finally got a RMA to return the product. However, they won't refund me until they receive it. I'm literally going to video record my time at UPS packaging the unit, it's remote, and LAN cable. I'm going to insure the package and request signed delivery with tracking. The way things have been going it's probably best to CYA intimately, or risk further violation and aggravation. I am crossing my fingers for a quick refund.
