This is the same conversation people were having when the D8000s were about to be released and the same conversation people were having when the ES8000s were about to be released. Unless Samsung did a complete 180, the F8000s will have the same quality control issues as every other Samsung model before this. The F8000 will no doubt be a great television, but the number of duds that are shipped out of their Tijuana facility will no doubt be exactly the same. I guarantee you that those betas models were not assembled on the same assembly line in Tijuana that is responsible for such terrible quality control over the past couple of years. When the 60 and 65 hit the market which are the two assembled in Tijuana, we will see if quality control is better or if they continue to focus on just getting as many out the door as quickly as possible.
I'm all for people being optimistic, but the F8000 thread will read no different than the D8000 and ES8000 threads... a great tv if you are lucky to get one with no dead pixels, uniformity and/or banding. I find it amusing how people hang on every word that the people from VE say when in reality they have no ideas how actual production units will look either.
