The Gorilla glass was cracked pretty heavily up top during shipping. I see that there is another panel underneath that has not been damaged at all and when the TV is on it all works fine. My question is, can the opticontrast panel be removed and can the Tv still be viewed without a major loss in clarity, uniformity, Etc. if the everything else is undamaged? Im pretty sure to get a new opticontrast panel you would need to order the whole LCD panel which is almost the cost of a new TV, Being that i have no recourse and no shipping insurance, what would be the best way to make use of the Tv, In a dark room you can't notice any damage to the glass whatsoever and i could just leave it as is if thats the best solution. Any ideas?
