I recently purchased the LG LM7200 60 inch television, and let me say, I am really enjoying exploring all of the possibilities. I hooked it up to the reasonably priced Denon AVR1513 Home Theater package with Boston Acoustic speakers, and it is really awesome so far. However, there are so many setting for both the television and the sound system that it is a bit overwhelming for a novice like me. Does anyone have any recommendations as to how to best setup the picture for the clearest, crispest picture. Sometimes watching sports the wide scenes seem to lose their crispness, but when the camera shot is closer, the crispness seems to be there. Should I use trumotion for sports? Movies? regular tv? How about contrast, backlight, or other settings? 3D settings? How do I make the images really jump off of the screen?

I would really appreciate any suggestions or recommendations. I thought I would try this forum(my first time) before having to pay for professional calibarating.

Questions about Displays belong in the display area. Thread moved.

Walking the fine line between jaw-dropping and a plain ol' yawn.
