Sorry, didn't mean to double post. Admin can you remove 1 of them? I don't see an option to do so.

Thanks

Still not a single peep from Vizio on a product that was supposed to be Q1 when Q2 is is halfway over. Doesn't bode well.

Hi, Folks!

So far, things are moving along at right about the pace that I'd mentioned earlier. The only thing that's peculiar is why Amazon might have removed the item; we'll have to see on that one. For me, I've actually received good news. In the order confirmation email for my M701D, Amazon had specified a shipping date from June 13th-July 1st. My current order status now reports June 10th-June 24th! So, as long as things keep going, it seems like it will arrive sooner than planned!

Cheers!
Mark

Yeah, we dealt with this issue once, about a year ago. The rep told us that unless the item page states that the lowest price will be offered as of the day of shipping, you're stuck with the price that was shown when you purchased it. Of course, they matched the price, "in their discretion." It could be that they at least changed this policy so that price protection is offered across the board until the item ships. But one thing hasn't changed -- once it ships, there is no price protection, and it's completely up to the representative to give you any type of refund/credit/etc. We just recently dealt with that issue.

Go to the link and look at product information.

http://www.amazon.com/VIZIO-M401i-A3-40-Inch-1080p-120Hz/dp/B00CI3BP06/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1368061604&sr=1-2&keywords=M401i

Thanks. I can't get the link to work, but if these are the dimensions, the 40" should just fit.

Thanks again.

Not gonna be able to hold out until mid/end of June. If it was May 26 like someone else had heard from a big box then maybe. My 90 day return window on my Samsung ends June 2.

Another question though, has anyone heard if the new M's have the Smooth Motion control like the older Vizio models did and the M's and E's don't unless its a bigger size? The M47 120Hz I returned because it couldn't be controlled and the SOE was so bad it made me and my wife nauseous.

The link worked at the time I replied but has since been removed .... good thing I copied the info for ya.

If there info for each TV is correct this is what it said for the one requested size on.

36" Wide should be about right .... my 42" vizio in my office is 39" wide and it's actually a 42" with a large bezel .... since the M-series has a tiny bezel and your 2" smaller ... the 36.3" should be just about right!

Where did you get the Samsung? If you don't want to go without a TV or know for certain that you don't want your current Samsung just take it back and exchange for a new one and your 90 Day Return will star over.

The 55"($1199)-65"($1599) are on Best buy.com. I will talk to my buddy today and see if I can nail down a release date for everyone.

Samsung 46" EH5300. It has a great picture. Sh@! For sound, that's why I'm taking it back.

That sucks the sound is bad. I thought all the EH Samsung's had great sound since they're were "Direct-Lit" LEDs with more room for better/bigger speakers? I had the EH6000 a while and thought the sound was great. Good luck.

Im starting to look at other options because I am sick of waiting. If both models were out, would you get the ST60 or this vizio? Is plasma better?

If choosing between both at the same size, the st60 without a doubt. One of the best picture quality sets you will ever witness at that price point. Unfortunately for me, I'm in the market for an 80 inch and am hesitant on the sharps so I'll stick it out a little while longer.

Im looking for a 47" TV at the biggest (maybe 50"). So maybe I should go plasma? Unfortunately the st60 is now a no go because it seems it has serious input lag issues

If you can hold out I would wait on the M501D vs the M47i. It is gonna have so much more for what should be only about $150 more.
You'll get 240Hz & 3D etc...

I talked with Christian Hansen at the Costco Livermore, CA Regional HQ and he said that the Vizio M321i is scheduled for delivery to Costco on May 23. I don't think Vizio will let Costco get a leg up on Best Buy or Amazon.com. So I believe that the M series rollout will be over the Memorial Day 3 day weekend.

I hope your right!

My 90 days is over at the end of July so I should be good!

I'm just gonna sit on the extra money I saved (the price between the 70" E-Series and this 70" Ms-series ... about $900) and wait for this bad boy to arrive at Costco.

The Day It Does .... It's MINE!

Has anyone heard if the the new M's do 2D to 3D conversion? The new remote has a 3D button and from looking at older models I didn't see a 3D button.
I've had 3 Vizios but none with 3D.

I have the 2012 M series 3D (M3D651SV). it does not do 2D to 3D conversion. I don't know if it's been added to the new models, though I expect that it has not.

Got on vizio.com and almost got excited. Seen new sound bar on home page and thought was gonna see M-series on the next, it is on the next page but just a pic for a contest. But I guess seeing it there is a good thing.

Question? anyone have a clue as to why the delay in the M-series? I keep thinking memorial day may be the target date but I have no inside info. Vizio's loss may be samsung's gain.
