clouding on these tv's are normal (it shouldn't be) . There are techniques like "massaging the screen" that can take away some of the cloudy spots. And NO...no firmware update will improve picture quality of any screen, it is what it is from the factory....firmware updates will take care primarily of software issues/bugs...

I have a samsung ue60f6100. The firmware for the TV is:

T-NVTF6DEUC-1019.0

Can I use the firmware from a higher range "F" model TV to access smart features like dlna, apps, netflix etc?

Sorry on my ignorance on the matter or if it is a dumb question.

unable to answer the question above as don't have that model, but lol to transcript, I liked;

Sinclair: Support Angry Birds app. biggrin.gif

So long as it does that i don't know what your worried about.

You did give the tech guy a bit of a drilling, considering a lot of these peeps are just on min wage and only have the answers they are provided with. But it can be frustrating at the same time.

A number of these firmware updates state "improved picture quality". They don't actually expand on that. What about the picture quality has been improved???? As with most firmwares/updates, don't fix unless broken...

I have a UN40ES7500F, however it has started the whole turn off and on thing, any idea where I can get the latest firmware for this? Or even an older firmware to go back to?
