With all the hype around 65,70,80 & 90 is there a sweet spot in size ? Where everything just is really perfect ?? I assume it has to do some with distance from the set but was wondering if a 55" is now the spot or 60? Or doesn't really matter anymore? One would think the bigger you go the more imperfections u would see especially if tv is 70-80% of ur watching material!! Would think blu ray size wouldn't matter as much ?
Meaning would u want to go high end side of a tv's series but smaller screen or lower end and larger size ?

Viewing distance, room size and what you typically watch are all factors. Search for HDTV viewing distance and you'll find some calculators. My viewing distance is about 17' and both the THX recommendations were well in excess of 90" which is somewhat impractical not to mention costly.
I'd say that the sweet spot is really a price/size one and right now it is 55" rising to 60".
