I am putting together a workout room and need an LED or LCD (lots of glare where it is going) that can play back videos through a USB.
I got a Vizio for just that reason but man its pretty cheesy, things sometimes works sometimes dont, audio gets way out of synch, just a bunch of problems.

I'm backing up all my old DVD's for playback through the USB on a flash drive and/or portable hard drive.

This should be a no-brainer but I've been to Frys and Micro Center and all they have to offer are older models that only support digital picture and music playback through USB

So what 32" make/model has comprehensive support for video through USB?

Well, I thought I found what I needed.
I DL'd the manual and found that there are major limits to the Panasonic TC-L32E3 ability to play back what I need it to

Its unbelievable the restrictions on flash drive/SD cards that it will read.
Also the formats that it wont read seems to include AVI...are you kidding me!?

Does anybody own the Panasonic TC-L32E3 and use it to play back videos, and can you tell me just how limited it is?
