First, thanks for reading, this is an intermittent problem on start up. Any help in narrowing down the problem is gratefully appreciated!
About twice a week upon start up ( into my tivo ) I get a black screen with a green strip across the top & side edge of my samsung led tv. I've replaced the HDMI cables both the input from the tivo & the output from the receiver. We always turn the system on & off via the Harmony remote. I replaced the harmony remote. Everything except the receiver has current firmware.
my husband thinks the problem is the harmony remote software setup.
I think it's the receiver because if I turn the receiver off & back on the problem *all ways* resolves itself.
In searching the web I saw one reference to this issue on amazon (http://www.amazon.com/review/R2L2EGB22MW5DT/ref=cm_cr_pr_viewpnt#R2L2EGB22MW5DT
) which seemed to tie the problem to the TV & Netflix. I don't have netflix set up as I access everything on the web via my Tivo. I don't even think the TV has a Cat5 cable attached.
