I have a LG smart TV and sometimes go on the internet to sites that might not always be safe. Has anyone ever encountered a virus on their TV? I assume it is possible, but not sure.

I haven't seen any proven issues with smart tv's and viruses but yeah, I guess it would be possible. That's one of the reasons I think smart tv's are a dumb idea. Way too expensive to be screwed with by a virus or some other nasty.
