I didn't see any threads on this model yet. Does anyone on here have one? I'm looking at picking one up. I haven't seen any official reviews yet but seven of the eight reviews on Amazon are 5 stars with the other being 4 stars. I'm looking for a 42" 120hz LED for my mancave used primarily for gaming. I'd love to get some additional feedback from an owner before I pull the trigger.

(I see this is a plus, two week old thread, nobody has responded to)

I don't own one but everything I've read is giving it a thumbs up. What's preventing me from buying? Haven't gotten the tax refund yet but it should be here by the end of March.

Amazon now has twelve reviews on this model.

The above unit hits all the sweet spots I've found; full back lighting, 1080p, 6ms refresh rate, 2,000,000:1 contrast. WiFi, with tax, an excellent price and at ten feet, the perfect man cave size, So far, my researched opinion, price/features, can't find anything not to like.

Based on your research, what say you on this unit?

.................................................

Addendum, yesterday I settled on a 2-D, Vizio, E420-A0, with added three year warranty contract, tax/license, out the door from Costco for <$500.00.

I'll set the unit up today.

i know its an entry level LED with smart features but its been alright so far. obviously picture quality doesnt compare to my old plasma, but im trying to make it work.

I saw this at Sam's Club and it looked really blocky. Is that normal for this TV or is because it isn't calibrated?

It looked worse than most TVs, even some of the other Vizios.

I decided I'm going to give this a try. Got it at Sam's Club so I have 90 days to figure it out. Worst case, it goes back to the store.

I'm thinking it was calibrated badly as the E420i looked better, so I'll see if it improves with calibration at home. It's only really going to be used for PS3 gaming int he bedroom, so not a huge deal. I'm not expecting the world for a $500-550 TV.
