Hello

Figure we can start a thread for upcoming large flat panel tv's. I for one would like a 4k 80+ inch TV and the choice so far are the Sony which is too expensive, LG and Sharp

Does sharp have an upcoming 80" 4k tv this year?

Sharp does not have an 80" 4K set this year and the Sony, LG and Toshiba 84" 4K sets all use the same LG panel. Samsung has a 85" 4K that should be out soon. Hisense, TCL and other Chinese manufacture should have 65" 4K sets below $4000. Sharp has a 60" 4K with their ICC engine in Japan for an absurd $30K and had some 70" and 80" 4K demo sets, but if they do release late this year they would probably be Elites with high price tags.
