Can anybody suggest a workable headphone solution for my new 47LM8600? For now, we don't have a proper HTS we can connect the TV that would allow us plug in headphones. Are there any workarounds? Perhaps hardware I could plug into the Digital Audio out? Trying to keep costs down as much as possible -- is there a < $50 answer? Anything that might let me plug in two headphones?

Having a wireless headphone solution would be great but isn't required. Candidly, neither is audiophile-quality sound. Just something that gets the job while our infant twins sleep in a closeby room!

If you wanna run straight from your TV you can use a DAC:
http://www.amazon.com/Digital-Optical-Toslink-Analog-Converter/dp/B004C4WPXA/ref=sr_1_15?ie=UTF8&qid=1363056041&sr=8-15&keywords=DAC

Otherwise, you can always run some headphones from your sources. Like DVD/BD, cable box, etc. Those components will use RCA, so you'd just then need to convert that RCA into auxillary for headphones, which is dirt cheap. And you can split that signal into two as well.

It's a matter of preference and whether or not you want/desire wireless headphones, or if you're just want regular headphones.
