I have an Onkyo 709 with a three year old Sony 52" LED and Tivo OTA STB. Everything works perfectly. When I power on the Sony, it powers on the Onkyo and my Tivo remote controls the Onkyo volume. All via HDMI control.

Today I bought a UN65ES6500 Samsung. When I power it on it powers on my Onkyo but changes the Onkyo imput from CBL/SAT (Tivo box) to TV/CD and I get no sound until I switch the Onkyo imput back to CBL/SAT. Turning off the HDMI control is not an option for me.

This is a deal breaker for me unless there is a fix. Can anyone help?
