There is no favorites tray on the updated F series Smart Hub.
^ Thanks for answering. But my smart hub still looks like the old one. Is it maybe because i updated using usb method?

Hey There....recently upgraded from the original firmware that came with my (maybe 1202??) to 2203, and now 2204. Has anyone else experienced the same issue I have with the apps...specifically Amazon Prime Video App. It used to work very quickly, with very little lag with the original firmware. Now it freezes, jerks (the progress wheel spins slowly stops, spins slow , stops etc etc), and usually barely functions. Unfortunately there is no way to 'reload' the Amazon app. I've tried rebooting the TV a number of times, with no change. Any ideas?

Go into the Smart Features Menu and do a Smart Hub Reset. That will uninstall all of the applications and then re-installs them back One at a time. Any Applications you have downloaded will have to be downloaded again. All of the Pre-installed applications will automatically get re-installed. This also will require to re-program the Cable box (in my case) universal remote. The Web Browser will need to be tweeked for your prefrences as you had when you set the TV up the first time.

Hopefully after this your Applications will be OK again. This reset does not cause your Video settings to get erased. This has happened to me as well!

Does anyone know if the Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter (Miracast) will work with the F7100 running SW 2203?

Hi All,

So I updated my f7100 yesterday to the latest firmware. After updating I tried opening smart hub and it tells me it's not working. So I resetted smart hub via the "0000" password but still no luck. The network connection and internet test SEVERAL times was successful. I tried both wired and wireless connection with a successful internet connection. I did this for a couple hours but still no luck. I even tried changing the DNS to 8.8.8.8 but still no luck.

Any suggestions? Help please...Thanks in advance

Pirate,

What's your current calibration with the latest firmware?

The F7100 is unfortunately doesn't support bluetooth audio devices, only Samsung's own "SoundShare" brand of wireless connectivity. I also don't recommend it because it introduces synchronization problems which unfortunately has no option to adjust.

Ok... I found this nifty device that connects to the headphone 3.5mm jack on the back of the TV. It transmits a signal to bluetooth head phones. So far thats the only workaround .

Nope..you can try. I really don't think so because the 3.5mm plug is a headphone output only. So when plugged in the thingy will transmit a Bluetooth 3.0 signal to my creative labs wp-380 Bluetooth headphones.
I also have a tx-nr609 in another room that I can plug this device into..switch it into receive mode and send music from my phone. So the big plus for me is that I can use it in 2 different situations.

By the way.. I have found to avoid any latency issues with TV viewing look for the Bluetooth 3.0 version . The avantree saturn pro seems to be one of the very few out right now at a reasonable price that transmits/receives and BT3.0 .

If just listening to music Bluetooth 2.0 should be good enough although range may vary.

Sorry if this question has been asked and answered before. I tried a quick search within this thread. I have the Samsung UN55F7100, and today most of the apps have disappeared from the Smarthub. Is there an easy way to get them back, aside from a factory reset? Any suggestions or links would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Is there anywhere we can see a changelog for firmware updates?

I just updated my UA55F7100 to 2128, which is the newest available that it can find.
