Hopefully I can just leave everything on CLEAR and that be useable.
yea thats my maine gripe the motion and movements is all messed up to me. Color contrast seem great as usual but its the motion which is affecting the picture to me thats bothering me.

Hopefully we get another update that addresses it. But we are getting towards the end of the line when it comes to updates. Fingers crossed for at least one more.

Oh by the way... I was having major issues with the my system always disconnecting from internet apps or smarthub saying there it was connect to LAN but not internet. I contacted Samsung through their online web chat and the support agent gave me a new DNS to manually enter and since then all been great...

The dns is: 208.67.222.222
Hope this might help someone

Thanks for everybodys comments on the new Version of Firmware just out. For once, I'll just stay on Ver 2207 and skip this update. There was a recent Web Browser update that seemes to provide faster browsing than the previous one using Ver 2207. Also... the judder comments are a bit concerning me since motion in Ver 2207 is really good on my TV right now & I don't want to mess with that. If anybody does happen to see a real improvement in functionality or a newly added feature with Ver 2209 that is worth updating for, please let us know. Thanks again

I did the Factory Reset and Smart Hub Reset and both really make fw. ver. 2209 shine.

The AMP Motion is more fluid, yet retains the judder I like.

The black levels are darker and color accuracy is slightly better and more natural.

A few minor Smart Hub glitches were fixed too.

Downside: it does take forever to re-enter all those settings.....

Also did a factory reset. New update is much better now. No more gripes. Motion has changed again after the reset but changed for the better.

I use piratecoves settings. It's listed many times in this thread. Only thing I changed was contrast to 95 and sharpness to 10.

I can't use standard. The dimming of the whole picture just irritates me. My Next TV is def going to have local dimming though. Local dimming is MUCH better than the 7100's micro dimming.

If theres a way I could get movie mode to have those deep blacks I would use it n a heartbeat!! Lol but standard especially since uverse adjusted their black levels standard is pretty good now though my picture doesnt dim like it used to which was horrendous to say the least lol

outdoors?

Curious how one would expect this television to perform outdoors? Considering making this my "Patio" 65" television, so I can grab a 75" for the basement.

I guess i would be considered a noob here but i want to know the best settings for my TV, Game Console, PC and Blu-ray player.
I just got the new update 2209 and i am thinking of factory resetting and redoing my settings to make sure everything runs smooth.

I did have some settings from another website awhile ago all i know is that each source on the tv keeps different settings.
All i want is to make sure i am getting the best picture and sound quality from this tv.

here is my set up

FIOS HD box HDMI 1
Xbox one HDMI 2 (if anyone has expert advice on Game mode settings? )
PC HDMI 3
Blu-ray HDMI 4 (i know my xbox has blu-ray but i like to keep things separate) game mode and blu-ray probalby dont mix well?

and i also do like how Motion plus looks but have no clue on what to use it on or not???

Thanks for anyone help in advance
