I'm looking for a TV that's about 40" in size with a budget of around $350. I've been doing some looking around and so far these seem like the best deals:

$358 - VIZIO E390-A1 39": Amazon
$299 - Insignia NS-39D400NA14 39": Best Buy
$279.99 - Westinghouse CW40T2RW 40": Best Buy
$295 - Sanyo FVM3982 39": Sam's Club

Any suggestions on what TV I should buy, whether it's one of the ones I listed or another?

Thanks for your help!

Best buy has a 48" TCL for $399 this weekend. I have a few other TCL 40" TV's for $299 they were great value with Samsung branded panel and 2 year warranty.

I'm also looking for one instead of buying a 27'' monitor, I wonder who is better Vizio or TCL?

39" Toshiba sets are way better than anything on your short list. The Vizeo is probably best on your list the list better than the others not to bad.
I would avoid the others all together . Toshiba sets have a Game mode to help with game play it works.
Also the Toshiba's at Amazon and B&H are newer 2013 designs than all of the others and they have 3 HDMI inputs
instead of 2 as well as VGA inputs .

My First choice would be Toshiba next choice between TCL and Vizeo and none of the others .
Keep in mind the Vizeo does NOT have a VGA PC computer input you would need a HDMI compliant computer or video card
OR DVI-D output and DVI-D to HDMI cable or adapter The other sets all have VGA PC inputs .

The TCL's posted above should be fine lots of members here like them read reviews on all the sets . TCL is one of the top manufactures in China and one of the largest globally .
TCL actually makes some sets for Samsung they both own a joint venture Panel fab in China. TCL is expanding in US looks like good prices.

I would personally avoid Westinghouse ,Insignia and Sanyo they are cheap because they are cheap know what I mean?

Toshiba is first tier old school Japan brand probably assembled in China my 2012 Toshiba was made like that (assembled in China with Toshiba parts)
very good set better picture than same size Samsung,LG and Vizeo. I've had Toshiba before and their stuff has always been good for me.

My first choice would be Toshiba $47.00 more than $350.00 but well worth it
Toshiba 39L1350U 39-Inch 1080p 120Hz LED HDTV $397.99 Free standard shipping http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BN3W19Q

Toshiba 39L2300U 39" Class 1080p 120Hz LED TV $416.99 Free standard shipping http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/919932-
REG/toshiba_39l2300u_39_1080p_led_clearscan.html

Toshiba - 39" Class - LED - 1080p - 60Hz - HDTV $399.99 Best Buy In store http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Toshiba---39%26%2334%3B-Class---LED---1080p---60Hz---HDTV/6266483.p?id=1218725905648&skuId=6266483
.
I have shopped at both Amazon and B&H they are both good .
You can sign up for a free 30 day trial of Amazon prime then order your set and get free 2 day shipping and free Amazon instant streaming videos for 30 days
just make sure to cancel your Amazon Prime trial before the 30 days are up otherwise they will charge you $79.00 a year.

My First choice again would be Toshiba next choice between TCL and Vizeo (I would like to compare them in store first) and none of the others .

This one below looks to be a good deal.
NEW TCL LE39FHDF3300 39" Class LED HDTV - 1080p, Today's Price: TCL is one of the top manufactures in China and are global also .
$329. 99
Less Rebate:
- $30.00
Ends 07/13/2013. See Terms. Restrictions Apply. NOTICE: Limit (1) ONE rebate per person, billing address, company, or household
Final Price:
$299. 99*After Rebate http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1913063&sku=T001-3900&SRCCODE=LINKSHARE&cm_mmc_o=-ddCjC1bELltzywCjC-d2CjCdwwp&AffiliateID=WxHRncoD05Y-o9EF.XOCbmfjEtZq23W_KQ
TCL 39 at 299.00 is a swinging deal if I was looking it might be on my short list at that price .

Any of these Toshiba's or the TCL or maybe the Vizeo should be fine .
