I have a 32" Emerson LCD and I need to upgrade the firmware. Model# LC320EM2A

the problem is that i cannot find the firmware anywhere. i can find firmware for LC320EM2 and LC320EM2F but not one ending in A

It asks for the 1st 3 digits of the serial number (ME6) and none of the choices are even close to that serial number.

I toyed with the idea of just downloading the LC320EM2 version but I don't want to brick my TV. Any suggestions? Thanks!!

On a side note, all the Firmware selections are all the same file size.

Typically firmware updates are region and model specific. The mfrs site should list which models can be updated with what ever firmware version they are posting. If your exact model is not listed, then the update is probably not for you.

Bummer. Makes sense though. The reason why I wanted a firmware update is because when I press the source button on the tv or remote, and it cycles through tv, hdmi1, hdmi2, video, and pc, when i select 'pc' the label remains stuck in the upper right hand corner and i have to press the info button to get rid of it. not a big deal really. Just hoped that an update might correct this. Thanks for your help!
