Just as an update to this: The stuttering has now appeared on the replacement set we got a week or so ago. Same symptoms, the image stutters if the Automotion plus is enabled. We're going to take it back and wait for more 2014 models to be released in hopes of finding something else.

Has anyone noticed a slight echoing in the sound? I have had the 55" for almost a year now and have recently moved the tv to my full bricked mantle and since the speakers are in the back of the tv, I'm wondering if that could be the cause of this echo that's constantly present. It seems unlikely imo though since most ppl who own flat screens place in a similar location. I also have an ever so slight buzzing that comes from the tv when its powered on. It's been there since I unboxed it last Sept but since you can't hear it unless the tv is muted, I never worried much about it. Anyway, I'm just curious if anyone else has had any of these issues as well?

Just got the UN46FH6030.  I love the picture and have a laptop (via HDMI) and a PS4 connected.  But, I have occasional moments when the audio drops out for a second then comes back.  Its happened while playing PS4 games (NBA 2K14 and Killzone) and while watching Youtube or some of my IPhone videos.  I'm just using the TV's sound for now.

Is this is a known issue with the sets or should I jjust get a replacement one from Best Buy?

After 30 days you have to deal with Samsung.  Contact their support

Just had the 46" 6030 delivered to my door, from Amazon for $527.00 !

Haven't had a chance to calibrate or tinker with it, bought it for the bedroom but, for this price, it can't be beat and even though I'm not really into the whole 3D thing, prolly buy a couple pairs of glasses and 1 3D movie!

Does anyone know if there is a software update for this set?

Not sure if yours has a wired network connection in the back but if it does, hook it up to your local network and go into the menu [RTFM to find out which one ] and there is an option to check for a firmware update.

The steps it walks you through right after first bootup also allow you to do this.

This is all coming from the owner of a 55" so YMMV.

Here is the link to all the manuals in PDF including the one that is built into the TV which might be easier to read separately.

I don't believe there ever have been any updates released for this tv. Been awhile since I set it up for my dad but I know I checked and didn't find any

Thanks, and noticed, during initial setup, it asking to setup a wired connection.
Will take care of that this coming get weekend.
Used some of the settings, on the previous page, that a guy swore by and dude, they sucked.... Old guys white beard, on one particular show, was green!
Will also work more with calibration, this weekend.

Has anyone downloaded and used the calibration software, from this site?

I recently bought this TV for cheap. I've been experimenting a lot with the settings and I think I finally found a decent calibration setting for watching movies. Currently I play games (PS3) using the PC mode since the input lag is a little bit better. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for calibration settings when playing games on this mode. Initially I mimicked settings from my Movie setup but I'm finding that a lot of games look a little too warm overall so I've opted for a cooler tone. Any thoughts would be most appreciated.

Keyboard & mouse for UN55FH6200F (Costco) LCD TV

I'm assuming the UNXXFH6030 is just about the same as my UN55FH6200F (Costco) TV.
What keyboards and mice will work with my UN55FH6200F TV
It comes with one USB port and can use Bluetooth.
Would rather use something wireless (Bluetooth or USB receiver), but wired is ok if it is a more reliable connection.
I'm currently looking at Logitech keyboard/mouse combos.

Yamaha RX-V671 receiver
Infinity Beta 5.1
Samsung UN55FH6200F (Costco) LCD TV

Thanks but it looks like your settings are for a previous year's model EH and not the FH6030

Hi, new user here.
I also happen to have EH6030 model and settings posted by PlasmaPS80U are fairly close to mine. Although I did not have any hardware equipment and used AVSHD709 disc instead.

I see that color difference between movie and standard mode is quite different (49 vs 39). Why's that?

Standard needs a color setting of 10 less clicks to produce the same brightness of colors as movie.

Thanks for reply. But what causes the difference between those two presets when for example, both presets are calibrated same way.

probably some internal offset within the firmware/service menu

and a similar thing occurs with the contrast setting...

Just noticed my first stuck pixel on my 55', just about a year after purchase also. I've ignored mine so far, but some discs have a flashing screen that will play to try and unstick pixels. If that doesn't work have to get ahold of Samsung and I'm not sure on how many pixels have to be out for replacement.

I had one recently and used the stylus from the Wii U Gamepad to apply light pressure to it directly... when I released the pressure it started working again on and off. Now after a few weeks it seems to be working all the time (I've checked test patterns several days to confirm this... though after the TV has been used for hours, so I don't know if there is a warm-up needed for this pixel to work normal or not).

My approach was after trying the pixel flipper on Disney WOW BD for 1 hour with zero results. Of course, pressure/tapping/rubbing can can damage and/or scratch your screen so be careful and I take no responsibility for any damage that can occur from using this method too much or with too much pressure or the wrong object to apply pressure with. Attempt if you wish at your own risk.

FYI, one stuck or dead pixel isn't enough by Samsung's standards. (or Best Buy btw, which requires 3 anywhere on the screen).

So when I bought this TV 6 months ago I bought it knowing that it did not publicly support CEC. Now that I bought a chromecast, I think it would be really nice if CEC was supported. Is there any way to enable CEC in the service menus or is there any work around? I know there is a serial port, and I would be willing to spend some money to possibly use another device to intercept the CEC messages and possibly send them over serial?

It's really obnoxious that samsung doesn't include anynet+ on its non-smart TVs.
