I am looking for a bedroom TV set, but I like it to be smaller than 46" , thin, and to have some smart TV functionalities, including Netflix.

Problem is that MOST better quality TVs start at 46", anything with good viewing angle, higher contrast ratio, etc...

Any suggestions for a high PQ TV? I can even look into used market, as I know there were some higher end smaller LCD/LED TVs made by Sony and others before...

Appreciate any help, insight!

Pioneer Elite Kuro 111FD, Elite BDP-05FD, Elite 72TXV, B&W 805/XTC/M1.

One alternative would be to get a bare bones led with a good panel and connect a roku, or some other type of streaming box to the TV.

Thanks for those. I am not opposed to the roku way or something like that. But again, I am not sure if anyone is using the best LED/LCD technologies in under 46" size these days? Like to be Full-array or local dimming at lower sizes? I care more about PQ than features I guess.

I know Sony HX850 for instance used a better panel in 46" than smaller ones...

See below and you will find some good suggestions not all of them are smart sets but that does not affect picture quality ROKU 3 usually has better picture than most built in smart TV anyway best is PS3 decent wifi BD player is another option not usually as good at streaming quality video as both of the 3's though.

Thanks. It looks like the Panasonic 42 plasma is a great set. I wish I could find one under 40" though. All of the nicer LEDs seem to be above 43. Otherwise the plasma is definitely still the superior screen.
