After watching and reading every thread possible I am at the decision point for a new 65-70 inch TV. Lots of windows in the room and a wife that hates clossed curtains. Would like a matte screen and it would appear to be that no one makes a matte screen in 65-70 inch. would consider Samsung, Sony, Vizio along with Panasonic.

Have looked at threads extensively and I might be missing something but do any manufactors make a matte screen in that size?

I'd consider any thing from the Vizio D series to the Sony 550 to the Sony xbr900, but would like to not have to deal with reflections.

I should mention that I live in the sticks. Nearest BB or Sam's is 160 miles away. No way to look at just about any of the possibilities live, or I could figure it out myself.biggrin.gif

the sharps (70 inch) are pretty matte screens. I have a 70 in a bright room and it's very good.

Same here. A Sharp is probably your best bet.
