Sorry if this has already been answered by someone- but there is just so much out there. Here is my issue- I have read so much about calibration, and different factors effecting the picture quality of all of these HDTV's. As much as I care about picture quality - I care a ton about Refresh rate and motion blur. I am a huge Hockey and Tennis fan so I will mostly care about watching those High speed sports. I also care a lot about off axis viewing. My room is too bright for a Plasma and quite frankly I have read too many bad things about them. So I have narrowed it down ( I think) to the 70 inch Sharp LC-70LE757 and the Samsung UN65F7100 LED's. One thing I keep reading which makes no sense to me: these sets are 240HZ - which should be great for motion blur on Hockey- yet I keep reading that people recommend turning down the refresh rates or turning off the very aspects that were designed for improving motion blur. I keep reading that the sharp makes a tail end of a golf ball and everyone says to turn down the refresh rates. Can someone please help me understand this paradox?!?! And possible recommend a TV in the 65 -70 inch range?
