I've got a fairly specific situation in my den. I've got a mantle above the gas fireplace and to either side it is drywalled/framed in. We have an older 50" Panasonic plasma up there currently. I'd like to get the largest screen size I could in the opening, which is why I'm looking at TVs with the slim bezel. I've got plenty of depth and height to go larger, the problem is width. My max width is 52.75", I've been scouring the interwebs for awhile now and I've come up with a couple TVs that might work. They don't have the best reviews but they would fit really nice and for my wife they'd be fine. The LG would be a really tight fit, according to the specs I've found I'd only have .10" to work with. I'd like to stay under $2k if possible, does anyone have any others they could suggest?
