Hello! I have an ASUS VS248H-P monitor, and I really like the colors in sRGB mode. Looks natural to me, nice natural paper hue to the whites, not too bright etc. I'm not a big time calibration guy, mainly using the monitor for gaming and coding. I've had the monitor for a little over a year now. I just purchased a second monitor for the extra workspace, same make and model. However, this monitor, in the same sRGB mode, has a rather distinct pink hue to the whites. Interestingly, it's somewhat less bright than my older monitor as well. I've tried both DVI and HDMI cables, I've tried fiddling with the calibration, and I just can't get it to look the same as the first monitor. I sent it back and got a replacement, and I have the exact same issue with the replacement. Is this a lost cause? Will my monitor eventually "burn in" and yellow out a bit? Or should I keep returning until I get one that matches what I already have? Is it possible that my existing monitor is actually the anomaly? Thanks very much for any advice!
