I wanna get it at my local Costco cause they have best prices, 2 year standard warranty and easy to swap if I get a bad unit within 3 months and I can pass Sales tax cause I just moved from MT to Seattle. I don't like Vizio products in general and im down to either the Samsung or Sony. The Sony Id have to move stuff around to stuff it in but the Samsung would fit in easier and sometimes its on sale for $999. The Sony is on sale till Nov 4th. I don't like 3D and don't wanna pay for it either and I want 4 HDMI inputs on whichever TV. I will be sitting right at 8 feet away from the TV.

And no, i'm not interested in plasma, so don't bother

Both will give you excellent Image Quality. I went with the F6300 that the Best Buy or Amazon version of the Costco F6350 Same TV. Because CNET rated the F6300 as having and displaying an amazing full 1200 lines of motion resolution only the best Samsungs top tier F8000 or Highest end Plasmas resolve 1200 lines of moving resolution. So when things start moving your HD picture does not go down to sub HD quality.

Anyways thats my reason for gettng the F6300 and right in my budget range

I"m not hearing/finding the greatest stuff on that model lineup from Sony, so i'm thinking more of the Samsung as well.

Are people basically turning off all the super motion software crap on these models as it seems to create a "choppy" feeling during fast action is what im hearing. Keep in mind, i'm used to gaming on a 7 year old Sony KDF 50E2000 rear projector, so anything is a big step up for me.

The Samsungs have some presets you can use. The one most people tend to find acceptable is Clear because it doesn't over-process the image, turning everything into home video quality. Not sure about the Sony. The Samsung got a good review from CNET, but I don't know about the Sony. Sony's top-tier set is stellar, however.
