Sorry if this has been covered before elsewhere, but I did a search and couldn't find any threads specifically dedicated to this.

I have a question about this Smart Hub and it's ability to learn your tendencies and likes. Do you have to actually be browsing through the Smart Hub (i.e. using it's guide or picking movies/TV shows it has recommended) in order for it to continue to build a database of sorts or will it "learn" based off of your viewing habits through other sources?

I ask because frankly I do not like the guide that is provided and I use my DirecTV's STB guide as it is much easier to navigate. Problem is I don't know if the Smart Hub is learning my habits if I'm using an outside source.

Mine hasn't changed in the two weeks I've owned my TV using the AT&T Uverse receiver's guide so I think you probably need to use the Samsung one. I haven't registered an account with Samsung yet though so I suppose that could be preventing it.
