If one had to chose between the Sony KDL-70550A vs SAMSUNG UN75F6300AF vs the Samsung UN65F7050AF, what would you chose and why? Im leaning towards the Sony but its the one I cant seem to find locally in my area to check out.

2.5 or less
Prefer passive 3d but 3d not necessarily needed.
If it comes with smart tv great but not needed.
Value picture over smart, 3d
Lighting not issue in basement
Don't want below 65"

Do you have any requirements: price, features, lighting scenario, etc.

banding is fairly common on 65"+ LED TV's. I don't have a 75"er so others can update on the quality of their pic. If size is important what about a high end projector with really screen?

Only requirements are whats in first post.

I plan to use it primarily as cable HD and bluRay watching. Maybe some slight gaming if I get an XBOX or PS4 but no current plans to.

I am not going to call you an idiot Tim but I voted for the last one. I would take a look at the Sony W900A or the Panasonic Plasma's.

At the size you are looking for I would say scratch the Sony KDL70R550A and do the KDL65W850A instead, the PQ surpasses the R550A in every way. Now the price is a little over your projected budget but looking at your Samsung options the F6300 doesn't compare and its almost the same price and the F7050 is a lot more money than both of them.
