Question for anyone that might know - I've been reading cnet reviews for LED TV's as I'm in the market, and one tool I've been using is their Geek Box.
I just realized though that those scores and the qualitative review of picture quality can be different, especially when discussing blacks.
I.e. - the Samsung UN55F6300 has good scores for everything in the geek box, but the review says it struggles with blacks and has a sub-par picture quality. Conversely, I've seen others where the review says has good quality and blacks (Sharp LE650 for example) but the geek box scores aren't as good as the Samsung 6400.
Question I guess would be what is the difference between the geek box measurement and what they consider "picture quality" since they seem to differ?
