I purchased a Sharp LC-50LB150U from Best Buy during their Black Friday event. The TV fits my needs and was at a great price for a 50" TV ($399). My problem is that the picture quality is off. It's almost like it's too good. The sharpness is very crisp but its like the colors are too intense. The greens are too green, the reds are too red, etc. I notice it when I'm watching HD streaming off Netflix as well as the progressive scan output from my SD DVR (ReplayTV).
I tried adjusting the sharpness but that didn't help. Any suggestions on what adjustments I should look at to make it look more natural? Would using the THX setup off one of my DVDs help?
