I picked up a LG 47LN5700 a couple weeks back and it is my first 120 hz tv.

If I turn off the Trumotion setting am I watching in 60hz?

Is it the same as watching on a 60hz set or somewhat better?

I can adjust the Trumotion setting from 0-9 (judder), is anything 1-9 120 hz then?

Turn TruMotion off. You'll still have the 120hz refresh rate, just without the soap-opera-looking motion interpolation.
