Does anyone know of a good workaround to navigating the System Menus and such without use of 'touch pad' finger swipes. In general, I hate 'buttonless' control mainly due to lack of sensory feedback. When using the touch pad on the remote, my motions are routinely misinterpreted, and precise control is lost. It does not seem as though depressing the touchpad edges equate to up/down/left/right directionals as they dont seem to affect positioning of highlighted menu items. I certainly wish Samsung would have included actual directional buttons as well

I'm looking for the same thing.  This "Smart" touch was created by idiots.

Instead of hitting three buttons to go to channel 107, I have to find the onscreen keypad, swipe to the first number, press, swipe to the second number, press, swipe to the third number press, swipe to enter, press....  a hell of a lot more action required for something that is suppose to be "Smart".

The most common things we used are gone:

- Numbers

- Return/Previous (return to previous channel)

- Close Caption button (we are not native English speakers, so we like to turn it on/off as needed...quickly)  You have to hunt for it now through the menu.

This is not Smart at all.....horrible design process.

Anyone have ideas on how to create shortcuts?????
