This is just rehashing the same information we already had...nothing new.

As far the delay/timeline I think this guy is just pulling straws for a "2015" release.

The author of that article looks to be about 13, just summarizing available info.

I posted the article on Vizios page. Vizio just say the P series will be here this Fall (2014) We all pretty much knew it was in the fall. I was hoping Vizio would give a specific date lol

Vizio posted a pic on their Facebook page about a week ago of them filming a P series commercial. so hopefully it won't be long before they hit stores. Vizio would be smart to get the P series out in time for football season.

No kidding, I met both him and C. Thomas Howell in a B of A in Sherman Oaks, CA shortly after The Outsiders came out and while Howell definitely looks his age now, Macchio sure doesn't. He's aged(52), but he still looks like he could pass for a late 20 yr old.

Product page for the P series was up briefly and as of now only only available via google cache. Not much but it's something "new" (no new info that I can see)

If everything is to be believed on that cached page the P series is going to be a very impressive display. Of course flashy web pages are easy to do, actually producing on the hype is a whole different story.

Is HDMI 2.0 going to be sufficient for future 4K media(Blu-ray)?

No one really knows. They still haven't finalized the Blu-Ray HDMI spec so who knows if it will be 2.0 or a variation of it. For "now" it seems that it will be good for at least now.

The one plus is that the set will be able to stream NetFlix 4K and others if they use the same codec.

Anyone know if the P Series will have CMS and Gamma Controls, or do they still not care about calibration in the P series line?

CMS most likely yes as both the E and M series have them. As far as a defined Gamma control not sure if it will or not. While it's much nicer to have a defined gamma control so far calibrators have been able to get the gamma close by using the 11pt controls.
