Hey checking in here. Let me know if you have questions. I also have a 60inch M series to compare the set to. Would love to start seeing other owners and what picture settings they are using.

I will hookup my Xbox One to it later but so far it seems like it is getting the signal faster than the 60 inch. I havent noticed any lag on my 60 inch so I think it should be ok.
I spoke with one of the employees at Costco, and they have no idea when they will be getting larger sizes. They currently only carry the 32" and 40" models.

I guess that makes sense - start with the lowest-end/lowest-cost panels first. I guess we'll just need to be patient to understand how well this technology scales to larger size panels.
In any case, you have to give Vizio credit for teeing up the channels so that we are seeing our first consumer reviews on the new 2014 E-Series panels the Saturday after the CES where the new lineup was announced.
I tell ya', these Vizio guys are planning to take the TV world by storm this year - take no prisoners

p.s. notice the reference to 'Full Array' front and center. The real story about Visio in 2014 will not be that they killed 3D, but that they killed edge-lit!
Yes it is interesting because the older 2013 are in the newer boxes now. Maybe it is to push the sales of the older ones? I am not sure, but it is going to be even more confusing to consumers looking for the newer models.
I posted this in the other thread but will post it here as well.
So it finally got dark enough for me to test out this set in a dark environment.
I am happy to say that there is almost no noticeable blooming. Especially when compared to my M Series.
I watched several scenes from Skyfall, specifically the fireworks when he is going to the asian casino and the scenes where he is tracking the sniper in the high rise building. Both of those are scenarios where there is a LOT of focused brightness surrounded by darkness.
On the M series the rest of the scene would get washed out due to the Halo and blooming. On the E Series the light was really focused while the rest of the scene stayed very black.
I tried to take a picture of it but my camera on my phone wasn't cooperating..
I am very impressed with this new E series and think they are now an outstanding value.
WTF. I don't even see that model listed on the Vizio website. Only the 39". What gives? Is there a real complete list of the new ones somewhere? I'm curious if there's a 32" 1080P. The 39 and 40 are tempting though, since the input lag is being reported as low. I have to wonder what the competition will be like though. What's the best way to keep up on new models and input lag reports? I'm also curious if these screens support 1080i50? I imported Torchwood a while back, and either my PS3 doesn't like it, my screen, or both, cause I just get a black screen. It's not region locked.

That doesn't tell me what sizes they are or anything though. Like I said, browsing the E series list is apparently only showing last years models or something.
edit: finding them on Amazon. Bah. Both 32" models are only 720P. Looking like 40" unless something else impresses me.

if the model number ends in an 'Ax' or 'Axx' is is a 2013 model. If it ends in a 'Bx' or a 'Bxx' it is a new 20124 model. Vizio that have a model number without an 'A' or a 'B' suffix are probably old (especially if they are only available used

I had the same problem. Something's messed up with VIZIO's website. If you sort the models by size, all the 2014 sets go to the bottom - as if they have no size. And I'm not certain all the ones that have been spotted at retailers (Costco) are listed on VIZIO's site.
I'm puzzled by the B0 and B1 in the 39" version of the new series. The Vizio website shows
E390-B0
E390-B1
E390i-B0
E390i-B1
I'm most interested in the non-smart models, and I can't see anything different in the specs of the B0 and B1. I called Vizio and the salesperson didn't know of any difference. But I don't suppose the salesperson would necessarily know. He had no estimate of when the 39" series would be available.
Looking at the pictures, there is definitely a difference in the E390-B0 and E390-B1. In particular, looking at the side and back views, one can see that the panels are thin near the edges, but they have a raised, thicker portion in the middle. The raised, thicker portion occupies a noticeably smaller portion of the back of the panel on the B0 than it does on the B1. And the weight of the B0 is listed as 12.57 pounds (without stand), while the weight of the B1 is listed as 14.11 pounds (without stand).
