KDL-40R350B, appears to be a Walmart exclusive model. Looks like the successor to last year's R450A. 39.5" panel, 60Hz, Motionflow XR120, 2 HDMI, no X-Reality Pro Engine (Likely uses the Clear Resolution Enhancer). Not on Sony's website:
There appears to be an Asia Pacific model with the same number. Looks like it has some added features: something called X-Protection Pro, which is meant to protect the TV from heat, humidity, surge damage, etc., and an FM tuner:
And they've also released a W700B model, which looks to be slightly different than the W700 Sony sells in other parts of the world. It's the W800B minus the 3D, with the aluminum chassis in silver instead of black. Retains all the other features of the W800B: X-Reality Pro, Smart, 120Hz, odd non-VESA wall mount/stand. I set one of these up (50") and it indeed had all the standard Motionflow and Cinemotion settings, so it would appear it's really a 120Hz panel. Also comes in a 55". Price is good: $899 for the 50" and $999 for the 55". Not on Sony's website either.

,sorry about that ☺☺☺ I thought Sony's LT strategy was to move out of the value space altogether except for the one 32"R4 and the W600B/520B sets in fact they publicly stated that at CES .
ofc a lot has happened in the interval Sony TV is no longer Sony inc. div. but is now a Sony inc.owned subsidiary
maybe as a result they have a little more leeway with Product strategy e.g, enough rope to either hang yourself or save yourself if you will.
The new models look almost exactly like 2013 R4 which are actually pretty good sets I have a 2013 40R40A
in my bedroom it has an rear light Samsung SPVA panel w .022cd/m2 black and 4700:1 contrast it's every bit the
set the W800b is and brighter also and lower black level and higher contrast .
found pictures of both main boards for both sets on pay bay the main boards are different enough *appearance wise * to indicate the possibility of a different supplier or maybe not and only a newer similar part.
If the new Sony R3 sets model can match the 40r450A panel performance @ $350.00 or even ~$449.00 for the 40R350B at WM and other (maybe different model number on same set ) that would be a way swinging value deal .
My 2013 40r450A has IMO a better picture than 2014 Viseo FALD which btw is not that hard to do IMO away.
The 40" Viseo and some other Viseo FALD panels are not spec'd as well as 2013 R 4 Sony panels and have to invoke FALD to get even an acceptable black level and contrast that still cant match the Sony R4 panels .
Interesting about the new 700 model wonder if they are edge or back light I'm assuming the R3 is probably an
Samsung SPVA LCD cell with Foxconn fabricated and assembled LED rear back light like the 2013 Sony R4's
it makes sense they could use existing parts & tooling .
The2013 40" R4 has 50 LED hopefully the new 40" R3 has same panels and performance if so it's a swinging deal
likewise if the new 700B can match the 800B and only leave 3D on the table .Maybe they will come out with same same (40r423B or something like that model ) for Costco/Sams club etc. interesting thanks for posting F.G.
Is W700B B.B exclusive or no? How was pix as compared to 800B and competition ? how about same foe WM R3 ?
Looks like these new R3/700B models may be a good effort to compete in the mass market value sector like Visio etc.
and may offer a better experience .
No reason new Sony inc. owned subsidiary (with presumably less corporate overhead operating cost now ) can't match Viseo cost of goods and pricing using Foxconn or other OEM/ODM much like they already do for TV and CE.
or even existing underutilized Sony inc. plants , anyway. My R4 is Foxconn .
Sony TV might have more leeway now as and owned Subsidiary instead of Sony inc. div. as is often the case in these situations to better respond to market trends and have diverse product in a timely manner .
