Just got this TV, and due to the interface being so slow didn't realize the smart hub was going to update with apps.
Tried installing Netflix which froze when it tried to install it as a core app.
Now it keeps saying there is an update, tries to install netflix and fails.
Tried factory reset through service menu, smart hub reset through service menu and reset through self diagnosis menu. Nothing works.
Any way to do a hard reset and get netflix on the machine?
The Samsung network, which the Smart Hub connects to, has been experiencing technical difficulties of late. It was up partially on Wednesday for me (same model as yours) before going down, then worked Thursday, and was down again for me Friday. Pressing the Hub button, a text box pops up - ''Starting'' with spinning circle appears in the corner, and the Hub simply doesn't launch.
So perhaps you'll need to wait until it's back up, then try again.
