Hello Ya'll. Long time lurker here. Was hoping for some assistance. Here goes

As the title says, Looking for a tv from bestbuy (LED). Reason being is that I received a 1000 gift card as a gift from parents and since BB price matches amazon and the like, Id just prefer to go through there then having to sell the GC for a loss and add more money (etc…). I usually buy from Cleveland (last purchase was a year and a half ago) but unfortunately, parents gave me bestbuy gift card…so Im stuck with that. Anyways, sorry for the rambling. Basically, Im trying to get the best possible tv, picture wise. Something that’s sharp and pops. Im thinking maybe the F6400 60” might be a good option? Unless ya’ll know of better options in the price range? Any and all help would be much appreciated, thank you

thank you so much for the post.

Based on those models posted, are they all better than the samsung F6400, picture quality wise?

I had a F6400 and was not impressed. I own a 50" version of the M-series Vizio and a 46" F7100 for my bedroom. The black level and 3d are fantastic on the Samsung and if you like to calibrate your display the Samsung has pretty much anything you could ask to tweak.I really love my Vizio overall and a great example of passive (battery free) 3D,although I wish it had more in depth tuning options.

ukh, wish i read ur post sooner :(

I ordered the 6400 series and it should be delivered tomorrow @ 7AM. Good news is IF the pic quality sucks, I could just exchange it and they would pick up the old one and replace it with the exchanged one. I went with the 55" version because it came with a free galaxy tab 3 8" and oddly enough, I was in the market for an 8" tablet to use in the car. It cost 1297 w/ tax

I'll let ya'll know how it looks when its installed tomorrow!

Thanks Doc

Did not receive TV today. rescheduled delivery due to the delivery people getting the delivery time wrong. I was suppose to be 7AM to 9AM, they changed it on their own to 2-4pm. anyways, I should receive it monday and will test it then for all ya'll Ill be using monster isf calibration disc as well as THX and DVE (is that too much?)

I dont want to pay for the pro calibration until I know this TV is worth the extra (non refundable) service. The disc calibration method should be good enough...I hope!

Ive never used active 3d before either and will see if thats any better than passive (on my LG 7400 series)

Question is which one is better, and will I get a visual upgrade over my current Vizio GV52LF 52" LCD?

Thanks.
I would go for the Vizio. I have had the LA7400 and own the M-series Vizio and while the LG offers far better calibration tools the Vizio offers better PQ. The local dimming scheme on the Vizio is much better as well. The LG placed their LED array along the bottom of the screen and when the LED+ is enabled you see noticible pillars of light dance across the screen in vertical columns. The LG had much worse blooming than the Vizio.

Im returning the TV and going with the sharp 60" 857u model

what do ya'll think of this one?

EDIT: Scratch that, they are giving me the 755 series, not the 757 or 857 series. The 857 series is sold out. DAMN U AVS MEMBERS....LOL. I have a feeling the second that thing went on clearance, everyone here jumped on the deal lol

anyways, what are ya'll impressions on that?
