I'm going to make a number of web videos want to use a TV, on a table next to me, to show PowerPoint-ish slides.
Most every slide will be simple text and/or static image on a blue background or such (a typical slide layout would be something like the Departure/Arrival screen at the airport ... big text... or perhaps something like the menu screen of a cable service... I want sharp edges ... it's not movies.)
I'd like 46-50". HDMI (I'll be using an iPad Air to navigate through the slides ... mirroring.)
Video, Nikon D3200, will be 8-12 feet away.
So the question is:
- Do any specs matter for this application? ... refresh rate, pixel density? ... or is any LED monitor going to be plenty good enough and I'll be ok buying a cheap one.
I'm also told plasma is far heavier ... and that LED is better than LCD, even with backlight?
