Today I received an email stating "Your rebate entry has been validated! Your Samsung UHD Video Pack will deliver in the next 1-2 weeks. " I did check the fine print, and the following models are eligible:

I was about to fill out the form again but checked my email and I received confirmation too

Came home today to find my 65/8500 constantly rebooting when I turned it on. It shows my FIOS TV as being on, but the SmartHub menu is onscreen and so is the mic icon. After 30 seconds or so, the TV reboots and the exact same thing happens in a never ending loop. I have the TV unplugged from power for the last 5 minutes or so. I think I am going to return it to Costco on Saturday. Between this an an incurable lip sync issue, I'm very frustrated with the set. I do LOVE the picture quality. So I'm debating on swapping it out for the same unit or trying something else. I can get any Sony 4k for half off until 8/16 because my son in law works at Best Buy and it is a promotion going on right now. Decisions...Decisions....

My 65HU9000 has a small 10cm bright narrow C-shaped stripe at the very left bottom corner of the screen, which is visible on very bright uniform backgrounds (like skiing, football), especially when camera is panning left/right. Being on the edge of the screen it is not too distracting though and it's not even visible on regular content. Compared to the 4 Pannys and Sonys I went through in the last two months this TV has extremely well-uniform panel, not perfect, but good enough.
