Just purchased the Samsung UN60F6350AF from Costco and trying to determine the best picture setting. Any suggestions from other users would be appreciated.

Also Comcast supplied the 4 component cables which I have had to set the source to Component. The HDMI source shows Comcast associated, but do I need to purchase a separate HDMI to coaxial cable to take advantage of this and avoid using the Comcast remote to solely use the Samsung remote?

FYI..there is an entire lengthy thread dedicated to the 6300 series...it might be better to ask your question there. I do not understand what you mean by a "HDMI to coaxial" cable. The best connection is an HDMI cable running from the cable box to the set. The first step is to go look and see if you have such a cable.

Tried looking and posting there, but didn't receive any related reply so thought I would start a new thread.

So you think these settings? http://forums.cnet.com/7723-19410_102-601640/samsung-un55f6300-picture-settings/

If I follow it correctly they recommend movie mode which seems rather dark.

Yes those settings. They seem fine to me but you can start there and make your own adjustments to your liking.

Looked there first and couldn't find any actual settings which is why created this thread. If you know of any, please post here. Thanks!
