Official Samsung UNxxH5500 Owners Thread

Welcome to the H5500 Thread!

I'm going to start the thread the fun way with hardware pictures of a UN32H5500AFXZA with a Samsung panel (TS01, 32A6AF0V). Then the next 3 posts will be calibration and comparisons with last years UN32F5500AFXZA (TS01, 32A6AF0S).

[Reserved] for F5500/H5500 Comparison ...which I'll do tomorrow but the short version is the F5500 is better in every way except for the Quad core processor.

I mean they're not extremely different but you can tell what Samsung sacrificed this year (panel, ease of calibration, uniformity, build quality, backlight brightness, speakers, ect.) to bring the price down by $130.

Sorry, I'm interested on the topic but I could not understand. What's the difference between OOB Factory Calibration and i1 Display Pro Calibration?

Where exactly can I find the side by side measures comparison between F5500's 32A6AF0S and H5500's 32A6AF0V panel?

How can you say F5500 panel is better in anyway? Shouldn't be the same panel with the only difference of V=Vertical Edge LED vs S=Side by Side LED according to panel's code?

Thank you and sorry for my ignorance :$

Thank you for the info! Any thoughts on good general purpose settings for watching television? Have had a rough time getting contrast and brightness adjusted to desirable levels. Thanks!
