I'm going to start the thread the fun way with hardware pictures of a UN32H5500AFXZA with a Samsung panel (TS01, 32A6AF0V). Then the next 3 posts will be calibration and comparisons with last years UN32F5500AFXZA (TS01, 32A6AF0S).
[Reserved] for F5500/H5500 Comparison ...which I'll do tomorrow but the short version is the F5500 is better in every way except for the Quad core processor.
I mean they're not extremely different but you can tell what Samsung sacrificed this year (panel, ease of calibration, uniformity, build quality, backlight brightness, speakers, ect.) to bring the price down by $130.
Bought the Samsung UN40H5500 several months ago and am overall pretty happy with a couple exceptions -
1) During many movie end credits, the black background will mix with pixelated gray blocks. I have all 'special effects' like eco sensor off and my picture setting are right in the mainstream of what's recommended. Is this common and is there a way to fix it?
2)The Youtube app (through many firmwares, including the latest) is almost unusable due to random crashes. Is there a fix to this?
