Want to upgrade from Samsung UN46C7100 to another 46"

Have a Samsung UN46C7100, want something also 46" in size but with better PQ. This unit is at least 3 years old, has something better come up since then? Not interested in curved OLED or 4K just yet.

What is the biggest size you are able to fit? also what is your budget? Without those two things it will be hard to give recommendations.

Size=between 46" and 48"

Budget = around 900-1200. I don't mind buying a used high-end model a little cheaper.

I don't have any concerns about Samsung UN46C7100, it's a great unit. But I wonder if in the last 3 years, advancements have been made regarding LED.

Overall quality and uniformity have improved as well as general panel technology.

For your lower end price you have the 49" Vizio M-series with Full array local dimming $699 or the higher end you can get a Samsung 46" H7150 for around $1200. I have seen last years 46" F8000 in box going for as low as $1299.
