I sprung for the LG LB7100 70" for $2499 and I love it, its a really nice tv. I've got it calibrated and dialed in and it has a great picture.

70" Vizio M is $1900 and 65" is $1500. Both are full-array local dimming and have received positive reviews as one of the best 2014 TVs in terms of performance/price: http://www.cnet.com/products/vizio-m652i-b2/

Wish I didn't like 3d, would be an easy choice.

Yeah - if 3D is a requirement, you need to look elsewhere than the 2014 Vizio's.

65-70" 1080p 3D FALD is an unsolvable problem this year, so you'll probably need to go for an edge-lit set (which might include the Sharp Q+ 1080p+/4K- pseudo-4K-at-1080p-prices).

Sony 70W850b ($2,299 and sometimes drops on sale to $2,099) is really nice! The X-reality pro helps a lot for an overall clean picture

Don't know whether it's any good or not, but pretty easy to find that TV for under $1900...

I have a Sharp LC-70SQ15U calibrated to AVmaniacs settings and love it. 3D looks great and you can get one now for about $2k from East coast TVs.

http://www.eastcoasttvs.com/Sharp-LE.../lc70sq15u.htm

I bought mine from them and am happy with the deal. Just be prepared to pay additional cost for insurance and white glove shipping.

It's probably one of the better 70" tvs out there... when was the last time that you looked at a Sony?

here's Cnet's review http://www.cnet.com/products/sony-kdl-70w850b/

no unfortunately

It is an in store only deal and most stores wont price match a store more than 25 miles away anyway

closest Microcenter stores to you would be metro Atlanta
