Question more information about Panasonic TC-39A400U

Best-Buy is selling the Panasonic TC-39A400U with a big discount, but I can't seem to find much information about it. I play video games, so I want it to have acceptable input lag, but am not so much a fanatic that I need the very best performance. I haven't seen 1080p TVs at this size at this price range from a good mfr. before, but want to make sure I'm not getting either a TV that tends to be unreliable or that don't perform well. I also live in a small living space, so I don't really need a larger TV...

I couldn't find anything about it either, other than it has "fake" 120hz via BLB (backlight blinking), and since it's a 39", it's probably some sort of VA panel:[]=39&product_composition=LCM&resolution_pixels=1920 1080&lamp_type=WLED

But I couldn't find specs anywhere for it to properly identify it(ie: the Contrast ratio). So I'm guessing it's a VA, probably comparable to the LG 39LN5x00 series. Only thing I heard about this Panasonic Viera is that the speakers apparently suck, but haven't heard it or seen this set first hand.

Panasonic's entry level model, PQ probably equivalent to JVC, Insignia/Sceptre, etc. Very little info for entry level models on forums or review sites. Best bet is do your own testing at brick and mortar stores. (This is based on my experience the last three months, I've been looking at the next level up -AS530- and have found very little info on these sets. Good Luck)

Only online review I found: Reviewed . com: panasonic tc-32a400u
