Official Emerson LF501EM5F owners thread

Don't hate, I know this is a budget 50" LED sold by Walmart on Thanksgiving Day 2014 for very cheap. I got mine last night and hooked it up and the picture and sound look good to me. I set the picture and sound to "vivid" and am happy. Just thought it needed its own thread since there are gonna be so many new owners out there.

Newbie here. Just got this model for Christmas. I see a great picture though I have been watching a 2006 55" Sony Grand Wega rear projection TV. Tired of buying bulbs for it .

I am a poor vet. I noticed there is no 5-band EQ. what happened. I had to get an adapter to make better sound. That's cool I like this tv. My brother bought this for x-mas and he is waiying for his samsung 4k 55" 8550 to arrrive to replace a sony 1999 36 wega boat anchor..
